One of my friends (Kuhn, http://www.myspace.com/bkuhn) is part of a collective called Astro Nautico (http://www.astronautico.com/), and they've been running a night called Over The Top every 2 weeks all summer. Machinedrum's playing the next one, and all the residents play dubstep and glitch-hop. Their site is at http://overthetopnyc.com/. I think they're continuing into the fall, so you haven't by any means missed the fun if you haven't been going.
