WHEE! FEST is a 24 hour celebration of music, art and spirit nestled in the mountains of Cullowhee, North Carolina. This is a gathering of friends, family, and creative individuals lasting all day August 27th. Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis and is limited. On site parking is -very- limited and will be accompanied by a small fee, however free parking is available off site within walking distance.

CAMPING BEGINS FRIDAY AUGUST 26TH! Get here that night for an intimate bonfire with the AvantGarden staff and all your friends! We will be having an open mic, food, and acoustic music to lull you off to sleep... then, when we all wake up SATURDAY AUGUST 27th it's MUSIC ALL DAY! Feel free to camp overnight Saturday and make your cleanly, loving exit Sunday by noon.

The event is being held at AvantGarden organic farm and venue. The outdoor location is absolutely beautiful and for those so inclined the opportunities to learn more about agriculture are abound!

We have a variety of fun to be had including on site tubing down our private portion of the river, massage therapy, food vendors, art and hooping! An assortment of local and world wide information on sustainable development, organic farming, ect. is available and the event is also a canned food drive! We are working with local charities to make this event as pro-active as possible.

Tickets are available at the gate for $15 / $10 21+

There is a $5 daily/$8 2 day camping fee per tent/camp spot -

Our day time headliner is the reggae band I.R.E. With an intense live performance and soul soothing sounds, make sure to be here early to experience these amazing artists!

After dark is owned by Asheville native GALAXC GIRL! Bringing a full audio/visual experience and a genre-bending bass assault, we are thrilled to be bringing this artist to the Whee!

Coming from Atanta, MANTIS is a two man producer/dj duo melding elements of heavy metal, crunk, and dubstep into a terrifying bass onslaught. These up and coming artists are a duo you need to keep an eye on.

ARKANIX is a dj from Denver, CO who plays a wide range of ambient dubstep perfect to introduce the evenings EDM. His sets are known to induce euphoria, relaxation, and higher states of consciousness. Listen at your own risk.

PARIAH & STIGMA are local favorites who now host the weekly WOMP WOMP WED. party in Sylva, NC at the Boneshack. When the dynamic duo gets to work it's a genre bending exploration of EDM.
