For some reason, I can't find a straight forward eq 3 that fits my liking. The one that comes with ableton is a bit awkward (having the knobs at like 4:00). I've tried the one that Tarkeith (?) put out, but it seems like it is soo sensitive. What are you using/ recommend for a simple eq?

i used to use tarekiths DJ eq. recently though, i have an autofilter mapped to sweep the freqs out. i have one knob for the lows, and one for the highs. upside is these can be used as a sweeping effect as well. downside of this is i dont have any control over the mids specifically.

Who cares about the mids, the track sounds like crap when you remove them :P

I have my EQ3 mapped to the macro's and then that mapped to a korg controller.

that way you can have the knobs at 12 o clock... but tweak the values in ableton macro's to your liking.
