So Im moving down yonder way to the bay area and I need help making links and GETTING A HOUSE/ROOMMATE/APT.

Anyways my girl and I can get in here but only till the end of the year. I really like this spot, a lot! I would really like to stay out in the Emryville area, anyone with any links or ideas definitely leave a post! I need your help for sure!

What brings u down to Emeryville? I lived in West Oakland for a few years in an old victorian on the cheap. If they r remodeled they r generally pretty nice otherwise they can b kinda slummy. The neighborhood gets a bad rep but i never really had any problems just don't b an ass and keep all ur gear in street view. I find most places in Eville hella expensivebut if u can afford it there r super nice loft/townhouse type dealies everywhere. Musicians have a hard time cuz all those shitty expression students (Used to b me) blast there shitty beats to loud and make landlords pissed.

I am open to any other suggestions of different/cheaper areas?!?!

Yo dood. I'm temporarily living in Dogpatch area of SF, and looking for a crib as well. This neighborhood is super tight but, I havn't a spot yet. Dogpatch is definitely my favorite spot in SF, especially as far as living situations go. I recently moved here from Montana, and got a spot in West Oakland in an old Victorian house, which i really enjoyed living in. The Victorian houses over there can be some of the most reasonable living especially if they have been remodeled as T.D.US was saying.

I am also looking for roomies/house, and i know of a couple more beat magicians looking too. Im trying to keep away from apartments, because its really hard to do what we do in them. Im pretty much open for anything as long as i can be making music and art around, and, or with, rad, friendly peeps. Im super easy to live with. Im very clean, quiet, loud, and always pay my bills on time. Lets keep in touch. Ive got my eyes peeled for the epic pad. If you have any questions PM me. BlessinZ

i live in a sweet ass apt complex in temescal area not too far from emeryville and there always seems to be spots opening up in our building.

found a sweet spot on 19th & Telegraph in Oakland and got an awesome job in SF! I get lost almost every time Im in my car, got nudged by a car into a Fed Ex truck my first day riding my bike to work! This town is nuts, I can get Pho whenever I feel like it, I can pretty much smoke freely, the BART can be a mother fucker but I loving it here!

Bart's not too bad. Sf MUNI is THE Motherfucker.
Actually the whack part about bart is that the last train at night is at like 12:30am. Thats some Balls!

THAT IS SOME BALLS!!! i went to glitch mob a few months back and then RAN down to meet the BART.. i must've missed it by like 5 minutes, the last one .. i kinda just bummed around san francisco for hours , (found a place that was open late, ) and then wandered about until finally i said fuck it and took a cab back to fremont (FREMONT!!) at like 5 am lol.. guess i shoulda found a dennys or something..but damn..

im in denver now, with a buddy, but thinking of going back to cali early next year like january... and im looking for roomies, too.. i guess id prefer to be in a house not just an apartment cuz i wanna make music and apartments are usually quite small in the Bay for what you pay...

I'm nice, easy going, i pay bills ON time, i like being involved in music projects or art projects and that kinda thing, hopefully looking into the san francisco area, somewhere around there, somewhere not as far South of the bay as Fremont (even though that's the east bay, i think?)

This DOGPATCH some of you speak of, is it cheap?

dogpatch is one of the last undeveloped parts in san francisco.. There are lots of warehouses and such so if you own a business you can qualify for a commercial lease which means more space for cheaper. The house I'm in is zoned as such. Otherwise i'd sah the majority of places in sf are pretty overpriced. However what unbelievably kills me as a canadian is paying for water and garbage. And internet costs twice as much. Wtf america

it does seem like most of the people i've talked to on here (who are in the u.s. i mean) seem to reside in San Fran, L.A, Denver, and i'm assuming, New York? (( .. I know there's people from all over, and that's fine, nothing wrong with living where ya want outside of these pockets ))



it would be cool to have some kind of map of the u.s., with a star or marker or something in a few different towns and then maybe some names near the stars to show that "oh look, sAuce is in San Fran... so-and-so is from San Jose, fun. " etc. Not saying we need ADDRESSES or anything,but at least towns or regions...


I feel like visuals like this can add something to having a sense of culture, in a way.
