soooooo i have has idea for a mixtape... like those old Shiggar Fragger Show mixtapes by the Invisibl Skratch Piklz... except not scratching.. just glitching and ripping and blasting and bassing...

i want to form a supergroup. a click. a collective. a jumble of dope producers and throw together a mixtape.

so yea.. showcasing, mainly, 3 or 4 or 5 producers and their exquisite talents in glitch hop, and with a theme, each mixtape (especially if theres more than one.. but thats for another day to decide) it would be great cross promotion. Each producer could shine in his/her own style, their could even be an mc to spice things up here and there, making the whole thing fun! It would also be free, methinks. And the most important thing is that it would be DOPE. that's the main thing i'm striving for here.

i'm just down for this ... for any help or anything ... Outernational glitch powa !

RE: sampling... i think it should be completely legit, original signal generation and recording by the artists involved. no sound comes from outside the collective (maybe excluding guest singers, close friends, and outsiders who remix us). not even public domain samples.then we could sample and remix eachother. or call eachother up and be all "can you make this sound so i can sample it?" it'll be refreshing, inarguably more creative (albeit not inarguably more meritorious, cos there ain't no hate ), and completely legal to make money off of if we wanted.

like that idea. pooling resources. im good with funk melodies, ducking, shuffle rhythms, etc.. bass is not my strong suit. (just being honest! it doesnt suck but i jus do other things better lol) would be call to be all , "Hey, YOU THERE, bass my shit up."

hey so... was thinking, remember those "Sideways stories from wayside school" ? i was thinking about the whole "sideways funk" thing, weird funkd-out funk, and was thinking, for this mixtape, could be something like, "Sideways Grooves Mixtape #1" or something like that... just an idea... i want a range of styles, you dont need to be making parliament grooves to be on this, but it was just one idea, i'd like to have some good funky shit on this mix...

or gandersplitter.. lol... but i like Sideways Funk or Sideways Grooves alot too.

so, bout to gear up and do this shit... who else is down? i needs to pick some good folk soon to collaborate with... thinking like.. 3 or 4 or 5 trax each.. can be already released stuff but would be cool to have SOME new music for it as well...
