ok so, if i need to post this somewhere else, lemme know. but thought i'd share with you guys, cuz i just got the booklet art done AND this little video and im SUPER EXCITIED to get the album done and release it!!! i hope people like it..

The Skwunc Years: 2018-19 is a fictional musical documentary about a form of music based on remixing remixes,,, also, in the future, PCP becomes very popular, (for some reason...) and it eventually caused the International Skwunc Riots... also, this is somewhat of a follow-up album to the post i made a few months back: glitch-hop-music/goodbye-2011-and-the-next-unecessary-genre-t7009.html

and YES, it IS supposed to be kind of a joke.. especially since it takes place in the future... but the album IS going to be released. so get ready for that, an whatnot.

I was talking to CancerofLove, he was suggesting I open the Skwunc thing up for people as a kind of compilation... like, for examlpe someone makes a track, somebody else remixes it, somebody takes that remix and remixes it a second time, etc etc, until it's had like 5 or 10 remix-layers.. you know, keepin' shit true to the original Skwunc vision of 2018... :pez:

but i dunno.. it's a great idea, ive just already got some tracks ready and i kinda wanna just release them myself, though i definitely like the idea of a super internet-collaborative effort... i was talking to someone who wanted to remix a couple of skwuncers from a couple months ago i did. i dont mind at all if anyone wants to remix my stuff, it's a huge compliment.. but for this one, i think im gonna just do em all myself, all 12 of them.

next time around, maybe we could do a "real skwunc" album and have everyone remix each other's remixes or something

Strangeflow, i like the new ad. BUT i think you still need to remind the listeners how skwunc turned the "Western world on its head", forcing the listener to question every aspect of their pre-skwunc reality. you know?

oh yea. well, the thing is, i wrote a booklet to go with the CD, so when thats put next to the CD, it'll make alot more sense.

and by CD i mean MP3 album. haha

ha. im going to use this in the album booklet.
i have the album booklet could always use more quotes

and i kind of want to write a fake Rolling Stone article to stick in the album zip file as well... like, how rolling stone goes out of print altogether after they publish a story in early 2019 about skwunc, and realize it would be the only pure thing they could ever truly write about. or something to that effect.
