you can expand it and map the low cut to a track fader for bass kills

the rack in the above posts is a canibalization of a few people's work, most of the credit has to be given to tarekith.
here's a breakdown of the controls:
marco 1 = notch filter
marco 2 = mids
marco 3 = highs
marco 4 = fader select (fade to grey, bit redux, hi/lo pass and one other)
marco 5 = wet/dry for fader
marco 6-8 are dry in the middle (64) and are my favorite tarekith effects.

have you sorted this out yet I've been looking for a rack to do some splitting

yeah it works. you might run into trouble with phase if you use certain plugs in HQ mode (i.e. EQ, saturator, etc).

also, with the all of the EQs not set as High Quality, everything is getting downsampled to 44100, but in High Quality mode you would be oversampling it. not too big of a deal, but this is the reason the phase cancellation isn't 100% perfect. regardless, way better than the other jenky methods to do this.

Here's a link to a device I made in collaboration with Voltage Disciple. It's Glitched out percussion all created from a Moog Slim Phatty, then destroyed in Ableton. I think it's very useful!

Here's a video walkthrough...

Here's the 'smart' volume fader I made for my APC80 template.

It's pretty simple, just a crossing high and low pass EQ eight. It lets the mids out first, and then the highs and lows at the end. It sounds way nicer than using straight volume.

Hi everyone! i'm new to this forum, really loving the aesthetic of Glitch Hop!

I thought i'd share a few of my creations with you

http://db.tt/eVIUeHZr

in this live pack (made with Suite 8.2.6) you will find 3 drum kits :
- one made with samples i synthesized with Analog
- one made with samples i synthesized with Reason's Malström
- one with its sounds made with Operator (this one is an actual drum synth you can tweak to your heart's content)

i also made 2 robotic sequenced bass patches (resampled and reworked with Sampler) and a phat Sub made with Operator
i also included a Sampler instrument which is a melodic percussion kit, the sounds of which were synthesized in Collision.

Enjoy!

You guys should definitely check out Francis Preve's blog. He has worked for a bunch of heavy hitters in the VST arena and creates some very nice free Ableton racks.

Enjoy.

Hey all,
This is a small bass machine i have made.

The machine is based off the 128's method and is my recreation of ill.gates bass rack.
there are three layers in the instrument rack Sub, Mid, Topps. the mid and topps have macros allowing you to change the sounds with ease.
it is set up with velocity so the softer you hit it the slower the sounds filter envelope activates.
so in the demo i am attempting to attach, i play a 4 bar loop of the bass with out and then with a velocity plugin set to random to vary the filter amount.
my goal is to create a full 128 bass samples and build a few Fx racks to go along with it as well.
