VST's don't work with reason. You'd have to use another program like live if you want to use vsts.

dunno which program you're using...but in ableton in the plug-in drop down window you scroll all the way down the list, and there's all these slots that say "init"...those are all default (unless i'm confusing crystal with another synth)

that's what you're asking right?

Do i need something special to open up these downloads?

I have a new macbook and most of these files end up in downloads folder as .dll files but when i click on them i just get script... This is a common problem i have when searching for VSTs online..

Mac doesn't use vst's, but AU (Audio Units) you can't use pc shit on mac basically.

mac do use vsts, it just has to be for mac you can't take a windows dll file and put it in you plugin folder. almost anything that is a au also will install a vst on a mac.
