 Post subject: How do i make my tracks have the same peak in volume?

So after exporting tracks they vary in loudness which is understandable but I was wondering how one would make it so that the tracks are the same volume so that if i wanted to make a CD for friends to hear they dont have to keep adjusting the volume of their stereo.

peak volume is not the same as perceived loudness...check for rms meters.
and as tobias said mastering. compression, eqing, limiting.
