^ That's something I picked up in the tutorial..

I thought it was handy in FL to have the "Link Last Tweaked Parameter" option..

In Ableton you can just tweak the parameter, and that's the one that will show up on the instrument track..
Quick and Handy..

Not sure if that's just general knowledge with the ableton heads on here, I am just starting to use it again..

yeah like the others said, resample!

a new technique i've been employing into my production methods is sampling the synth sounds i create within vsts such as massive, then bringing those samples into a sampler like Kontakt for further processing. it's really opening up a lot more possibilities for interesting sounds i couldn't have created otherwise.

what processing you apply then? i'm really curious about it

i just play with whatever filters/effects built into Kontakt, experiment until i get something that sounds cool. I never do the same thing for every sample I use, it's pretty trial and error. One of the strengths of this method is that you can layer multiple VSTs (ex.Massive) on top of eachother, and bounce it down as a single wav to be brought into Kontakt and played like one instrument instead of many which simplifies things a lot. Layering multiple synths to create one sound/sample can give really nice results, then when you bring that sample into a sampler you can manipulate that sound even further for even more sonic possibilities.

-Oh and I should mention that by "bass" sound I meant more like the lead synth "bass" sounds that you would layer on top of your sub bass.

Throw your massive sounds through various effects chains, experiment and find what works good and save it, then learn resampling and put the sample bass through more effects to fuck up the sound even more.

Just keep experimenting
