Id love to know how you got into doing commercials etc.

Were you approached to do it? Did you have a portfolio ready to go before your first commercial gig?
How could an upandcoming producer like most of us get into doing commercial music?

thanks!

Thank you for your Time here Kraddy.

I use Logic to produce as well and I often use Ultrabeat, is Ultrabeat inferior to Battery in some way.
If you think it is, why is Battery better. Is it the sound library, or the ability to layer and eq the drum sounds before you even write the MIDI notes.

thx again.

ps, I really enjoyed your comment on inspiration. The sound of the steamer on an expresso machine inspired me. Made a sweet riser.

"Or, load it into Live as a full song and play it at 20bpm. Then it will be long enough for a whole album."

I don't really have a question, but a huge thanks for doing this Q&A. Been a big fan of your tunes and loved your set out in Tempe around a year ago! It was good to meet you, can't wait to hear the new album.

Again... Thanks for doing this man. Great info being passed around.

I was wondering about panning for live performances. Do you pan different instruments during the show or just center everything? Do to the larger space, does panning separate too much?

hahha have you heard that justin bieber song...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjGh3FVC9GQ

thats what that reminded me of haha... sounds like some dope sick evolving pads man...

Kraddy im not really a listener but ill be sure to check out your stuff.
its awesome you doing this for this little community !

Can you make a beatmaking video from head to toe.... i mean alot of producers just make that like...
now the drums.." now the synth bass " now the snare ... etc

i guess its a bit much...but let us into your studio...show us how you hug the machines when you turn them on and how you brush your teeth with mic cables and shit! I wana know the real im not a producer im just some dude :wgaf: !

deep personal questions like.... do you like to do drugs? if so...while making music? haha. Smoke herb?

why are you a vegan i hear its terrible for your body.

when you were a child...what was your tape player like...what was rockin on your yellow walkman !

Macs or Pc's in the music game and why.

OH

and ... Since i know alot of producers have grown up in appt and condos and stuff. how did you ever get away making loud music all day...and not getting into trouble..
what were some ways to keep the noise down or was it never a problem?

do you ever create using heaphones and if so which phones would you suggest.

Thank you kraddy and everybody who participated. We have reached the limit of questions we can expect kraddy to reasonably answer in his spare time. This thread is now closed.
