I have really REALLY been digging PANTyRAiD's style on the Sauce album. I understand that the album has been out for like 3-4 years but it never EVER gets old for me, the vibes are just fucking sexy and psychedelic. :joint: I also learned that The Sauce originated from a slew of Marty Party's songs when he was still learning to use Ableton Live.

do any of you out there have any idea on the samples used in the album (I know about the Britney Spears ones already) but like the south african samples in Worship The Sun or in Upset?

I also want some feedback on a track I made called "What I Feel Like" I tryed to capture some of the same vibe by cutting up raw audio and recorded synths, but I can't get that same sorta RAW feel that The Sauce has.

here is the sauce for those of you who don't know this amazing duo!

I wouldn't even worry about trying to emulate pantyraid. Marty doesn't even know what he did right. I think you've got your own style and I kindof like it. If you keep working hard at it, you'll find your own sweet spot and end up getting people to master your tracks. That's that final sheen on your tracks that comes with
time. Good luck to ya brotha.

That sounds to me like something heavily inspired by The Sauce.. I think Deek is right. In my opinion, you've got enough talent and abilities to go in your direction.. The worst thing you can do is spend all your time and effort trying to sound like someone else..
Your edits are sharp and tasteful. I dig the change up in the synth. The Atmosphere you've created sounds wonderful.. I think mainly the (Britney Spears?) sample is very MP/PR.
Overall it's a great sounding tune.. Trying to get it anymore like Pantyraid would just make it sound like Pantyraid.. You know?

Keep it up man, this was some nice work..

Def sounds like pantyraid, but I kind of think it sounds better than anything on that album to be honest. ( I have listened to the sauce prob 500x lol)

Yep, would definitely like to hear more of this. You have enough of the magic of 'the Sauce' now just go with it and add your own flavor. Keep at it and you definitely could go places with this sound.

I think you're way beyond wherever you think you're at not only as far as production goes, but also the style you're shooting for.

I am impressed, and I love that you're developing that sound that The Sauce brought out I don't know where it went lol

you can download it herehttp://soundcloud.com/kevinhenderso ... -feel-like

I can't tell you how happy all of you make me feel thank you once again!!!

I am really going to dig deep and develop my sound much further once I get my MacBook Pro (15-inch)

I already have studio moniters,a good audio interface,a keyboard,Komplete 8 and now all I need is my computer

so things will get rolling again once I get that, I haven't made a track in well over 2-3 months, that was the last track I had done. BUT since then I have gotten inspiration from everywhere and I am just dieing to start writing music again!!! :)

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR FEEDBACK!!!! you guys really have inspired me to keep this up and work even harder now! I was always very skeptical about that song because I showed it to a couple of my friends here at home (San Antonio, TX) and they considered it be very "amateur" sounding and that made me wonder if I really nailed what I was going for. Now all of that has changed thanks to you guys! I am glad I finally got some opinions from some people who actually enjoy glitchy music and understand it well enough to give an opinion, thanks again!!! :)

Is there anything that YOU think needs improvement like mixing wise, sounds, harmony, variation ect. anything???
