hey, i'm pretty sure my production would be like 10x better with judicious use of the delete key.

dewey you could start a business, like that 1-800-GOT-JUNK... where they come and take away your unwanted crap. you could go through people's overproduced tracks and remove things.
1-800-GOT-CRUNK?

Great tip! That works real nice.

Take it to the next level, trigger it with the arpeggiator.

renoise render selection to sample, pattern effects commands. 09xx, 02xx, 01xx, 0Exy, 0Dxx... theres a reason dblue uses renoise ;)

I do it manual. Auto plugins just don't have the kind of control I like, although I have done like was mentioned above and let LiveCut run forever and just chopped the interesting bits out.

But i kind of come from a jungle break chopping background so I'm comfortable using that kind of technique. Bitcrushing can get some pretty raw sounds happening, especially on some sort of tweaky synths sequence with a high resonance. It can make real sampled drums sound pretty wierd too.

Agreed: cut and paste, Ableton beat repeat
New to me: they make software to glitch, lol! :P
Novel?: slow down bpm to like 20-60, then edit...did this on my track "Creation" that I will post in dubs when I am done with it.

Just stumbled across this site...

www.shuriken.se

They seem fairly basic but who knows maybe one or two could be a gem.

Really liked this one but its discontinued and pretty unstable on my system. Do they have a strait reaktor ensemble of it instead of the vst counterpart?

Cheers on that tip to open non audio files in Audacity, fucking sweet tip!

Yea Fast-Fx was part of the original "Electronic Instruments 2" addon pack. Then they made the XT version which were all stand alone's. Both discontinued but shouldn't be to hard to get a hold of. Hit me up if u can't find them though.

Oh dude! Speaking of circuit bent shit.
One of the most gnarly c.b. pieces I have seen yet.
check it out:
http://vimeo.com/3356981

One of them is up on ebay right now too.

If you scroll down there's tons more pictures and videos of it.
I want one!

Yeah Man, that piece is bad-ass!

I recently picked up two bent pieces myself: a Talking Teacher and this bent Casio:

I've been able to get a ton of great samples out of these toys so far. I'm looking at some dope bent drum machines, too. Lots o' fun looking ones on eBay:

why use organized plugins to create chaos. let your add fly and just "fuck" with "shit." yes, i was purposely vague.

I've messed with Dbu a bit, mostly I prefer just to glitch manually. Been getting more into Ableton so I'm having to learn new ways to get the same results I was getting in Reason, but I like it a lot more than Reason.

Destroy FX's Buffer Override - can make some MEAN grains.

(not so free) Fruity-Loops Granulizer - Can also make some very evil noises, especially on vocals.

Go grab the first two now. Well worth it.

The Kammerl slicer blew out my fucking mackie mr5 tweeter, this is fucking bullshit!!!
