DESCRIPTION

MalLabel Music presents a very special release from an important name in today’s bass landscape: KANE, straight from Sheffield, England. This is MalLabel’s seventh release with an international artist, and the label is proud to have plucked an EP from such a killer digital audio master. KANE’s Revenge EP on MalLabel is a brooding and intense opus that exemplifies his diverse abilities and his prowess in production. ‘Revenge’ and ‘Bigger Gun’ are the originals on the release, both are dance floor devastators.

First, the title track is an undulating mass of mechanized movement, brimming with bass bursts and solid rhythmic rushes. The one and only Widdler comes correct with a remix of the tune, and his refix compliments the original with a fierceness, offering the New Jersey dubstep pioneer’s unmistakable watermark of innovative texturing.

‘Bigger Gun’ is a hard core murky beat, a testament to Kane’s home turf, popping off with intensity. Ominous, to say the least, the track gets an instrumental remix by Carrier of past NTRLD fame. The combination of Kane’s original thuggish, sluggish tone and Carrier’s masterful synth additions is a killer maneuver, challenging anyone with hips not to swagger and strut their stuff.

From Coast to Coast and across the pond, Mallabel Music is here to stay and shines with a luminosity to endure the ever changing tides of musical movement. Kane is an amazing artist to add to the already stellar list of great producers who have helped bring MalLabel to the forefront of dubstep. Get ready to get murky! This EP is straight from the depths the deepest dubstep dungeon, and Kane is the man to deliver it!
