Had a listen to this recently and felt obliged to give it a review as nobody else has and
it is seriously good! Reminds me a bit of a combination of flying lotus and ras g but the
arrangements, detail and solos go quite a bit beyond the 'hip hop beat thing'. Multilayered meaty
semi lo-fi production that is generally pretty dark but in an unusual and transporting manner.
I Subsequently checked out quite a bit of Rose Specs stuff and it seems that he does a lot of different
things i.e. jazz, glitch, electronica, experimental and hip hop in various styles and combinations.
He's also got a track on a compilation called Headroom Vol 1. that sounds a bit like the stuff on this
e.p. but a bit more uptempo, positive and generally bangin.
Definitely one to check out and watch for in the future.

Yeah. It's not 2010 any more but MHR is on point. Check out 'Modern Music' and Rob Roy's stuff too.

Really. Not paid to dig up ancient threads and rep that!
