I think you named all the good ones. If you want to mangle stuff, get some of the soundhack VST bundles:
http://www.soundhack.com/freeware.php

And also search for this topic because there's already at least one thread for it. It's called "ways to glitch other than glitch"

Microwave your laptop while it's plugged into the speakers.

effectrix, artillery2, stutter edit (all bwompy fuckin programs)... SupaTrigga... The Finger... dblue glitch = oldschool/free glitches (too random for me)... dfx bufferoverride... ah, the soundhack vst's if you wanna do some crazy spectral shit.... Native Effects - sound toys (also on the production end)....

if you go balls deep, get into max for live, or reaktor. Both will make u sexy if you can figure them out.

Audio Effect Racks, with different combinations of

Fabfilter plug in's, http://www.fabfilter.com/

Artillery, http://www.sugar-bytes.com/content/prod ... hp?lang=en

Effectrix, http://www.sugar-bytes.com/content/prod ... /index.php

Dblue, http://illformed.org/plugins/glitch/

a load of Dfx plugins (Scribby, Skidder, Transverb, Geometer .... http://destroyfx.smartelectronix.com/

Reaktor, http://www.native-instruments.com/en/pr ... reaktor-5/

With a few loaded, automate the bypass's and individual intruments to get really complex glitchs relatively easier. Macro's also make everything immediately editable...

Nothing beats editing audio regions though, Automation of simple effects like one module of dblu or effecctrix set to retrigger. Makes it easy to glitch stuff up live setting pad to bypass/parameters etc...

Gave this a shot at my last gig, got some of the best glitch i ever heard!

:!: WARNING :!: will cost you a laptop but the recordings will be priceless

Alternatively, pour your drink on the mixer, record with iPhone, swiftly pack up your gear, and run... Continue recording this whole process...

destroyfx has some free vst's that are pretty good for glitching as well. Skidder is a nice gater. There's some other ones too, but Im too lazy to look them up right now. :joint:

The best glitch is really done manually. You can get by using some vst effects but by if you take the time to chop it up yourself the groove will always be better.

the warp engine itself can be a strong sound design tool when pushed to it's limits.

Gross Beat in FL studios is pretty ridiculous for glitching/manipulation.

Dont forget Stylus RMX - http://www.spectrasonics.net/products/stylusrmx.php... a bit more of suite than a VST though.

I agree wholeheartedly with whoever said Live's warp editor. Also, you can build a basic grain patch in Reaktor using the grain pitchformer module, and assign knobs to the parameters (clip start, speed, formant, etc.) If you throw a snare or a kick in there you can get some really mechanical sounding drum roll effects that can be resampled for later use.
