Ive been producing for a while not, however I have never/know absolutely nothing about Djing. Can anyone point me in the direction of some links to get started? I use ableton, and I want to play mostly original material.

It works without the APC40 also... You'll just be clicking more. Or you could map a similar MIDI device.
