Nice one...

Im still hacking the shit out of it, so i don't have anything solid, ive used a few mod'd versions of things... I hacked up iLL.Gates template abit to make it work with how i mix my tunes... But i am still in between finding a solid way to convert to it!? i think im still attached to some form of hardware, well see...

Cheers for starting this tho, keep it open, and help us all grow with our mad future music shiz..

Just got it. Like the CoreMIDI routing so I dont have to fuck with OSCulator. I need to spend some more time learning it though. Any good resources?

I've been helping a friend make a granular sampler for touchOSC via max4live. I'll post it and a slew of other m4l devices after we get a few bugs worked out.

My favorite uses of live touchOSC are when producers/DJs tilt the screen towards the audience and have the screen divided into two large buttons - kick and snare ... next level ... I'd rather watch them play fruit ninja.

I built a TouchOSC template for Maschine not too long ago. MIDI mapping in Maschine is gimped (presumably so people don't pirate the software and use it with their old Trigger Finger, though I hate attitudes like that from developers), so basically everything in the interface is tied to a keyboard shortcut (which means OSCulator is required, and Windoze users would need to edit the OSC mappings pretty heavily).

http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... p?t=150916

I realized not too far into the process that it wasn't going to be what I'd hoped it would, and finished it mostly out of spite, but it turned out okay. In the future I'm more likely to use Charlie Roberts' Control, as it can be fed interface elements from Max (useful for some other ideas I'm toying with) and in general the interface is CSS generated from JSON which makes it quite a lot more flexible than the TouchOSC editor, if a bit more of a pain in the ass to program. Also, Control is free, and Android users can actually load custom templates.

Oh wow that's a really nice template. I got it for my iPhone, but I haven't gone anywhere with it yet. I'm interested in making a template for glitching, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

iOnik - didn't know you could run it through CoreMidi. I gotta look into that.

yeah it's really convenient. it just got added with the new update so you can connect directly without OSCulator. Although lately I've just been running midi through the Alesis ioDock

I use Control (http://charlie-roberts.com/Control/) for my iPhone. The interfaces are super easy to build in Javascript. I was able to build a 3 page template with MPC style pads and faders in a few minutes.

Using two sessions rtpMIDI I can connect to an ad-hoc network with iPhone and still connect two computers with MIDI over Ethernet.

Control is free for iPhone users, and 'droids have an ad-hoc issue, so I highly recommend this as a multitouch alternative to TouchOSC.

I haven't used it, but OSC is supported including feedback from the application (Monome emulation, etc).

The MIDI has been fast, even enough for me to stop carrying around my MPD when I'm traveling and might want to program a beat or automate something.

Any one got touch osc working well with Android? Haven't had much luck with livecontrol. Might have to try puredata.
Probably goin to end up with an iPad since it seems soooo much easier to set up.
