hey all. while using the beat slicer function in traktor, is it possible to use it in real time? so when you turn the effect off the song is where it would have been anyways? ie, how the bat repeater works in ableton?

i use traktor pro 2 and i'm fairly new to traktor. i haven't used the beat slicer but i use the beatmasher 2 all the time and it seems to act as a beat repeater the way you're thinking about.

you can do the same stuff with Ableton's Beat Repeat as Traktor's Beatmasher. But if not (haven't tried it myself)... I guess you could rewire in Traktor.

i use ableton, but I am starting to hate the way that all of the warp functions sound on 808 kicks....
