Exchange LA hosts a new electronic music monthly in Los Angeles starting Thursday, May 31 with a focus on house, techno, electro, funk and bass-heavy music genres.

With three rooms, Funktion 1 sound, numerous large art installations, plenty of lights, lasers, strong drinks and good people, SHAKEDOWN presents a festival-like atmosphere in downtown Los Angeles.

Happy Friday peoples of Glitch Hop Forum!

My daily (over)dose of soundcloud tracks in my inbox requires yet more additions, and this is where you come in my friends.

I make really funk inspired tracks but just realised that most of the tracks coming in my way are quite neuro/harsh/super glitch/reese vibes.

I want some full on funked up track recommendation, any genre with heavy funk influences to add to my information overload please!

These two guys (Vinnie Davis & Trey Banks) are both only 16 years old and produce some super crazy glitch hop. They are second only to KOAN sound in my book, yet have only 100 or so followers on both sound cloud and facebook. A group that is so underrated with so much potential deserves to be recognized.
